Dubai Travel
Dubai Travel has solidified itself as one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world. From the initial concept of the Burj Al Arab hotel which was to be more of an icon or landmark for the city , Dubai has grown bigger and bolder in its aspirations to be one of the world’s great destinations.
With visitors expected to reach 15 million by 2010 the question continues to be what will Dubai continue to offer? With the initial tourist attractions such as the Burj Al Arab, large ambitious malls, Dubai has developed in a massive way and is now considered a world class tourist resort and has many facets to its portfolio. In addition to being an exotic destination to visit, it is building at a fast and furious rate to offer more and more facilities and attractions for its visitors.
Tourists, business excecutives and investors are all interested to see what Dubai will do next. As well as world class hotels now opening their doors, Dubai has invested in many serious tourist projects to make this a truly fascinating place to visit. Three man-made islands, Jumeirah Palm, Jebel Ali Palm and Deira Palm are on schedule with the first Signature island , Jumeirah Palm now occupied and offering a beautiful coastal location for holiday makers. The World, another massive project where islands in the shape of Countries and Continents are being manufactured in the middle of the Arabian Gulf and sold to millionaire investors and consortiums.
Ski resorts in the desert, Desert located hotels, Ice cafes, Desert Safaris, Sailing, Deep Sea Fishing, Dubailand (giving Disney a run for its money and currently still under construction) fabulous architecture, are all aspects to Dubai that appeal to tourists but also make this a fabulous place to live. With all year round sunshine and as close to a twelve month holiday season as you can get any where else in the world, Dubai's goal to attract 15 million tourists by 2010 is well on the way to being a realistic if not conservative figure.
To enhance the tourist access, another major airport is being developed at the south of Dubai in Jebel Ali. Although Dubai Airport is less than an hour to any of the outreaches of Dubai, Jebel Ali Airport is a perfect location for tourists to fly to as many of the truly tourist areas are in the south of Dubai around Jumeirah Beach area. It means being able to avoid the business traffic to reach your destination in a more relaxed and faster timescale. For information about holiday apartments, Dubai hotels and Dubai Villas please visit:-
