Beaches
Dubai has superb beaches offering all types of water sports. Deep Sea Fishing and Diving
Deep sea fishing, diving & snorkeling trips and yacht charters are also available. Diving and snorkeling is fantastic in the UAE as there are 2 seas to choose from. The Arabian Gulf and the Indian Ocean (less than an hour away from most resorts) offer amazing diving and for the more adventurous, try a dive from the famous Musandam Peninsula. Golf

Horseback Riding/Horse Racing/Camel Racing
Trail Riding, Western and Dressage are all available in this country of beautiful Arabian horses. Experience rides over beaches, open country or through mountain trails. Or come during the famous Dubai Gold Cup for the most expensive purse in the world. Dubai Gold Cup now competes with Royal Ascot for top class racing and a chance to dress up and drink champagne with the Emirate racing elite.
Camel racing is a deep-rooted traditional sport that finds its origins in the desert culture of the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa, and the Middle East. A great experience for all the family .
Nightclubs/Theatres/Live Music and Restaurants
Dubai offers a truly eclectic mix offering all-night venues if you should be so inclined. Dance clubs, jazz clubs, comedy clubs, karaoke clubs, Salsa dancing in Cuban restaurants are all-available in Dubai. Theatres and regular live concerts are also a big part of the nightlife here.
The restaurants are in a class of their own and due to the high standard and competition between restaurants results in superb service and amazing meals.
Shopping / Markets
Dubai arguably has the best retail Malls in the world with designer malls and unique themed malls springing up all the time. Since 1996 it has hosted the “Dubai Shopping Festival’ (January typically) where fantastic sales draw people from around the world each year. The Malls are alive with entertainment, and cultural extravaganza that continues to promote tourism in Dubai all year round.
Of interest to visitors here are the markets in many of the shopping areas like Al Manzil Mall in the Bur Dubai district and in Dubai Marina Walk, this wonderful outdoor arts and crafts Friday & Saturday market is running from October – April from 10am till late evening. With fifty stalls selling a wide variety of quality handicrafts and gift items, such as ethnic fashion and accessories, exotic home-wares, wall art and photography, handmade children’s items as well as an array of locally made souvenirs, the Marina Market is literally a breath of fresh air among the many malls of Dubai!
Ski Snow Dome
For a really innovative project, visit the Ski Snow Dome where great skiing, snowboarding, sledging (great for the kids) and lessons are available. For the more experienced skier, the snow dome offers the first indoor black run as well as some gentler slopes for beginners. Sledging, and snowboarding is also available and the Dome offers the largest indoor interactive ski park and freestyle area where you can really show off your skills. Wadi Bashing
Wadi Bashing is an activity known to adventure seekers worldwide. Wadis are dry riverbeds that follow the course of seasonal streams flowing through rocky valleys. Wadi bashing in Dubai is all about riding through wadis in four-wheelers with experienced drivers who know the terrain and can put the car through its paces.
Wild Wadi Water Park
Situated by the famous Burj Al Arab 7 Star hotel and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, is the fantastic Premier Wild Wadi Water Park. Great for all ages it’s a great day out for all the family. Rides are in abundance, experience the 80 km/hr downhill hurtle on the 33 metre high Jumeirah ‘Sceirah’; the 1.5 metre high waves at Breakers Bay; the 170 metre white-knuckle ride at Rushdown Ravine; or any of the 14 fantastic interconnected rides. For those who just want to relax, there are some great lounger areas, with views over the beautiful Jumeirah beach and close-ups of the famous Burj Al Arab hotel this is indeed a full fun packed day for all ages.
